Situated in the Pallas-Yllas National Park, Lake Jeris is a jewel in Lapland’s crown. Surrounded by the pristine snowscapes of imagination, the breathtaking scenery perfectly complements the activities included in the Sleigh Bells Ringing holiday.
Your trip begins with a direct flight to Enontekio airport, far in the north of Finnish Lapland, saving valuable holiday time by avoiding rushed or lengthy connections in Helsinki. Upon arrival, there is a guided transfer to Jeris of approximately one hour and 15 minutes, after which you collect your thermal suits and boots that you can keep for the duration of your stay.
Your accommodation is a traditional Finnish log cabin, which includes its own sauna and log burner. Based on a full-board basis, meals are served in the main hotel building (a short walk from the cabins) and are buffet style, with children’s options available.
This three- or four-night holiday includes an array of exciting activities and excursions, allowing you to make memories that will last a lifetime. It is possible to add some optional experiences to make your time in Lapland extra special, but the activities below are already included in the holiday.
Places are strictly limited, however, to preserve the authenticity of this magical part of the world, so book early to avoid disappointment!
The Jeris Cabins are set within the breathtaking surroundings of Pallas-Ylläs National Park, Finland's third-largest national park and one of the country's most spectacular winter destinations. Surrounded by snow-covered forests, frozen lakes and pristine Arctic wilderness, the cabins offer an authentic Lapland experience in a truly magical setting.
Built in traditional Finnish timber style, the cabins vary in size to accommodate different group sizes, but each provides the comforts expected of a cosy Lapland retreat. Every cabin includes a private sauna, log burner and drying cupboard for snow suits, making it easy to warm up after a day spent exploring the Arctic landscape.
Upon arrival, your airport transfer will bring you to the main hotel building, where staff will assist with transporting you and your luggage to your cabin. A welcome pack including tea, coffee and firewood will be waiting for you, with additional firewood available to purchase locally if required.
Meals are served in the hotel's restaurant, with one special evening meal included at the picturesque lakeside restaurant, offering a memorable dining experience surrounded by the beauty of Lapland.
Please note that the cabins are approximately a 15-minute walk from the main hotel building and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. A shuttle service operates between the cabins and the hotel, although operating times are subject to confirmation.

Will We Be Able to Give Santa a Personal Message?
Yes. Prior to your holiday, you can complete Santa's Wishlist, allowing Santa to learn a little about the children in your party before your visit. This should be completed no later than five days before your departure date.
Is This Suitable for Infants and Toddlers?
Due to the extreme winter temperatures, these trips are not recommended for infants under two years old. Children aged three and four years typically love the magical atmosphere and festive experiences, although some activities may have age restrictions and may not be suitable for very young children.
What Should I Wear?
Winter temperatures in Lapland can fall as low as -40°C, so dressing appropriately is essential. A thermal all-in-one snow suit and snow boots are provided on arrival, but guests should also bring:

Hat and scarf
Waterproof gloves or mittens
Multiple pairs of warm socks
Layering is the best way to stay comfortable in Arctic conditions, particularly for children spending extended periods outdoors.
Can Our Group See Santa at the Same Time?
Santa's cosy log cabin can accommodate a maximum of seven guests at one time. Larger groups may therefore need to be divided into smaller parties for their visit. If you are travelling with other families but would prefer separate visits with Santa, this must be requested at the time of booking or at least two weeks before departure. Requests cannot be guaranteed if made after arrival in resort.
